Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to all users of the Taught by Humans platform — whether you're an individual learner, part of a company subscription, or accessing via a Partner organisation. By using the platform, you agree to this policy.

1. The Basics

The platform exists to help people learn, grow, and do better work. We ask everyone who uses it to act with that purpose in mind.

You may use the platform to: access and complete learning content; upload your organisation's materials to build knowledge tools; interact with AI-powered chatbots and learning tools; and generate content, reports and horizon scans for your own professional use.

2. What You Must Not Do

You must not use the platform to:

Attempt to reverse engineer, extract, copy or replicate the platform's underlying technology, prompt structures, AI architecture or learning design methodology.
Scrape, harvest or bulk-download content from the platform by automated means.
Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, is unlawful, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share.
Generate content that is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing or designed to cause harm to any person or organisation.
Circumvent, disable or interfere with the platform's security, authentication, or access controls.
Share your login credentials with others or allow multiple individuals to use a single account.
Use the platform to train, fine-tune or build a competing AI model or product.
Rely on AI Outputs as legal, regulatory, compliance or professional advice without appropriate human review.

3. Fair Usage

We don't impose hard message or token limits — normal usage varies widely between users and subscription tiers. What we ask is that you use the platform in a way that's consistent with your subscription and fair to other users.

If your usage is materially above average for your tier — for example, sustained high-volume automated requests or bulk content generation significantly beyond normal use — we may:

Contact you to discuss your usage and agree a resolution.
Apply rate limiting to your account to protect platform performance for all users.
Ask you to upgrade to a tier that better reflects your usage.

We will always try to speak with you before taking action, except where usage is causing immediate harm to the platform or other users.

4. Content You Upload

You are responsible for any content you upload to the platform. You must have the right to use and share that content. tbh will not use your uploaded content for any purpose other than providing the platform services to you. We do not use your content to train AI models.

5. Business Customers and Partners

If you're accessing the platform through a business subscription or Partner organisation, your organisation is responsible for ensuring its users comply with this policy.

6. Enforcement

Breaches of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your access. For business customers, we will follow the process set out in the Business Terms of Service. For serious breaches, we reserve the right to act immediately.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. For individual users, we'll post changes here. For business customers, we'll give 30 days' written notice of material changes.
